Florida Silt Fencing installed over 24,500 LF of silt fence, protecting 37 inlets at the C 23/24 Reservoir in Port St. Lucie. In addition to the silt fence and inlet protection measures, our crews also installed 24 sections of floating turbidity barriers to prevent debris and sediment from entering the water
The water depth varied from location to location around the job site, so we needed to install different lengths of floating turbidity barriers in the correct spots.
With help from Phillips & Jordan personnel, our crews were able to follow the plans and place the correctly sized sections in the proper locations. Overall, we completed the project accurately and efficiently.
